Led by the Chief Justice and supported by six Associate Justices, this vital branch upholds the provisions of the ASI Bylaws, evaluates the practices of student government, and plays a crucial role in academic and election-related appeals. Overview
The Judiciary Branch is made up of one Chief Justice and six Associate Justices. The Judiciary Branch is overseen by the Chief Justice, who is responsible for:
- Interpreting the provisions of ASI Bylaws and other governing documents
- Assessing how practices within each branch of Student Government are carried out
- Serving on academic grade appeals committees
- Serving as the final appeals board during Student Government elections
- Judiciary meets on the first and third Monday of each month at 12:30 p.m. located in the Farber Senate Chambers (USU-234). View the minutes and agendas here.
