Services for People with Disabilities Bob Murphy Access Center (BMAC)

Bob Murphy Access Center’s (BMAC) mission is to assist over 2,700 students with disabilities at Long Beach State University (LBSU) to achieve their educational degrees and prepare them to be career-ready after graduation. Since their beginning in 1973, BMAC has supported over 12,553 students in graduating from LBSU.

Student Health Services

Student Health Services is our school’s health clinic, here to support and serve you on campus and virtually. Some medical services include primary care visits, immunizations, reproductive health visits, sports medicine, laboratory, pharmacy, sexual care and x-rays. 

COUNSELING & PHYSIOLOGICAL SERVICES (CAPS)

ounseling & Physiological Services (CAPS)

CAPS (Counseling and Psychological Services) offers mental health support to students through individual and group counseling, case management, referrals, workshops and crisis intervention. Our team of psychologists, social workers, and marriage and family therapists specializes in helping diverse college students navigate personal challenges.

PT @ THE BEACH

PT @ The Beach, located in LBSU’s LifeFit Center, serves both campus members and local communities. Licensed physical therapy doctors provide expert care for orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary and geriatric conditions. We offer evaluations, consultations, treatments and education services to improve function and quality of life. They accept various insurance providers and offer cash payment options.
