Philosophy
Our program at the IPCDC is wholly child centered. Our teachers are keen observers, attentive and responsive to the actions and needs of each child. Our teachers create the physical and psychological environment that encourages children to engage in play, facilitating their own cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. Through a blend of engaging, challenging activities, empathetic listening and nurturing ongoing relationships, our teachers support each child’s growth.

Children at the IPCDC are given ample time and space to explore their interests, test their abilities and reinforce their learning. Each child’s materials, activities and daily routines are customized to align with their unique schedules, developmental stages, needs and interests. We prioritize the development of social, emotional and problem-solving skills, which are critical in these formative years. Our environment offers children numerous opportunities to interact, communicate their feelings and express their needs, fostering the development of a healthy personality.
“ At the IPCDC, we hold the concepts of play, respect, trust, and responsibility in high regard, emphasizing their significance in valuing the child. ”
