Isabel Patterson Child Development Center

Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) offers a diverse range of programs and services aimed at enhancing the educational experiences of its members, the students of Long Beach State University (LBSU). ASI is dedicated to fostering a dynamic student community and firmly believes that students and organizations play a crucial role in this mission. The policies governing student grants provide a framework for the distribution of funds to students and student organizations for initiatives related to programs, research, and professional development that benefit the broader student body.
The ASI Business and Finance Committee oversees the Student Travel Fund, the Student Research Fund, and the Student Organization Program and Travel Grants. For inquiries regarding ASI funding, please contact Andre Achacon, ASI Vice President of Finance, at Andre.Achacon@csulb.edu.
If you have been selected to present at a conference, are planning to conduct research, or if your organization is organizing a program, you may qualify for a grant!

“Care are the roots that make our home where children grow and thrive.”

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Isabel Patterson Child Development Center is to deliver quality early care and development services which enable student parents to attend classes at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). The IPCDC offers children an experience that facilitates their growth, learning and creativity and is supportive of all children including those with identified disabilities and special learning and developmental needs.

Children of student parents receive priority for registration. As space permits, children of CSULB staff, faculty, alumni, and the community are offered services as well. The IPCDC also serves as a resource for the University’s academic programs, for the community, and for other institutions of postsecondary education.
